Technogeek Covid-19 Servic Changes

(COVID-19) CORONAVIRUS

Due to the Coronavirus; Covid-19 crisis, Technogeek Computers will be making some changes to our normal services, to ensure that we can minimize the risk & spread of the virus through the community.
Below are the Changes we will be implementing, and may change on a daily basis:

Because we value our customers, and in the spirit of social responsibility, effective immediately, we as a business have put practices in place to remove face to face contact.

Please be advised our business premises offer a separate waiting room where you can drop off and collect your computers with no requirement for contact.

NO CONTACT REPAIR SERVICES


We are NOT A SHOP so we do not have the space to allow people in like we did pre Covid-19.

PLEASE NOTE that until we are given the all clear to have people in the office (most of our contact is a minimum of 30 minutes with booking in services, discussions about computers, repairs, upgrades and sales etc; all pickup and drop offs are now restricted to set times organised with a 15 minute window in the waiting room and phone calls to make sure there is NO face to face contact at all between clients and staff.

We are doing all drop off and pickups in the mornings at this time as it is fairly quiet and we are not in all day at this time. We do not want to be driving in and out all day to work.
If you are late you will need to wait till the next day for a set time as we can have NO contact between anyone and we are required to clean waiting room between clients.

We have set in place the need for no signing of paperwork. We will take all information over the phone, send you all relevant paperwork via email, leave a sticker/s and paperwork in the waiting room. You place the sticker/s on items and take the paperwork with all terms and conditions with you.

ALL SERVICES ARE BY PRE BOOKED DAYS AND TIMES WITH 15 MIN WINDOWS WITH SPACING BETWEEN.

NO EXCEPTIONS TO BEING LATE - WE ARE REQUIRED TO MAKE SURE THERE IS NO CONTACT BETWEEN CLIENTS OR US.

SANITISING REQUIREMENTS

Sanitising requires all dust removal, internal and external wipe down of all items.

Laptops will be Sanitised upon receiving (Wiped down with Anti-Bacterial Cloths) which will include Keyboard & TouchPad Area, TouchScreens, the Inner & Outer Casing of the Laptop & Chargers. WE DO NOT ACCEPT BAGS.
Desktop PC’s – All Surfaces of a Desktop PC will be Sanitised upon receiving including all internal dust, as well as any Peripherals such as External Keyboards, Mouse, Chargers etc.

We will thoroughly Sanitise your Laptop or Desktop PC & equipment before returning it to you.

Remote option is available pending the issue you are having (not available for hardware issues - Pc MUST be working and allow internet connection).

NO ONSITE SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED AT THIS TIME

While there are companies out there happy to do onsite regardless of the threat to you and your family we will not be offering that service. Why would you want someone who travels between different people, different premises, handles different items and has the chance to pass something onto others in your home or business at this time?  Until given the all clear by the government this will not be a service we will be offering at this time.

Of course, depending on what is required, we will wherever possible offer our remote services and we do have contact-less drop off and pickup in our waiting room options.

We will work very hard to find the “right” solution for each of your I.T needs.

We understand these are challenging circumstances and would like to thank everyone for their understanding & co-operation during this time.

In addition to the above, please note our suppliers who are facing challengers of their own are having a flow on affect to us as a business and as a result we may experience some delays in sourcing parts.
However, we are working closely with these suppliers to limit these delays to a minimum. At this time there seems to be a 10-15 working days delay however that may change at any time.

We offer NO time frames on any services requiring parts.

We will be open during the COVID-19 Crisis – Normal Trading Hours apply however Restricted Customer Hours are in place.

It is important that we all do our bit, to ensure we can get through this crisis quickly and safely.

During this time, the health and safety of our customers and employees is our number one priority.
We will take EVERY measure, to ensure we provide a safe & hygienic environment for everyone.
